The Most Important Things To Consider When Renting A Mobile Stage

Whether it’s your first time renting a stage or you’re a seasoned professional with even rentals. Here is a quick list of the most important things to consider when renting a mobile stage.

How big should we go? The size of your stage rental can be determined by the amount of performers or the type of event. You want to consider how big the the audience will be. The goal is to put your performers or keynote speakers a level above the audience. What is the goal of your event? Make sure to choose a stage that can accommodate both the entertainers and attendees.
Here is an easy refrence for a four to five piece band we recomend a 16×20 stage. This gives each musician plenty of room to entertain your crowd. For solo’s , duo’s and dj’s we recomnded an 8×16 stage 

Set-up & Breakdown: Mobile stages can be set up and taken down in under an hour. While festival staging and can take almost a half-a-day to set up. Make sure to choose a stage that fits within your time constraints.

Weather proof: If your event is outdoors make sure to choose a stage with non-slip grip on top. This will prevent slips and falls. If the stage does not have a cover look into renting a tent. Equipment such as sound systems and lighting can be costly to replace.

Power and lighting: If your event is going to take place at night. Make sure that you will have ample lighting for the event. You will also need to make sure that the stage is next to a power source. Or you will need to rent a generator.

Safety features: Look for a stage with built-in safety features. Guardrails, steps and non-slip surfaces can help keep your event insurance cost down.
