Log Off And Disconnect The Wifi

I hope you all are having a safe and fulfilling January. I know it’s been a crazy start to the New Year. The intense energy, fear, and anxiety the media is perpetuating has overwhelmed us. It is also crippling.
I got glued to the screen. My emotions start rolling in like an afternoon thunderstorm! Before I knew it….my productivity was highjacked. One day wasted. My time would never be returned. So here is how I am trying to cope. Trying these tips can help you become more productive. It is as simple as logging off and disconnecting the wifi.

Log Off And Disconnect The Wifi

  • The night before I write down my daily intentions. I  arise ready to go.
  • I use an old-school timer. When I am writing or crafting contracts I place my phone far away. I also turn off my wifi if I am writing on m computer. Drop as many distractions as you can.
  • Digital minimalism – pick one day each week and take a full day off from media and social media.
  • Create outdoors. The fresh air will offer a new perspective.
  • Get uncomfortable. Too much of or time is spent being comfortable. The real magic happens when you step outside your safe zone.
My intention with this post is to encourage you all to keep creating. The world needs you. Your neighbors need you. Music has the power to encourage,  keep calm, and make folks dance funny. We need your tunes.  Don’t succumb to the daily grind. Create something magical. P.s Starting a new habit is hard and can be daunting.

If you need help try finding an accountability partner. If you don’t have someone you trust you can always connect with me via this blog post or by email. If you want to get really good….use daily gratitude.
