Change
We fear change because we can’t anticipate the outcome.
Over the years you have performed music in front of a live audience. You are accustomed to plugging in, playing, and getting paid. In March of 2020, that scenario was rerouted and the unexpected arrived.
All of us reject uncertainty, even though we have the skills to change and evolve. This emotion is hard-wired and to move forward we will need to cut the wire and forge new routes.
Today’s concert can be broadcasted from anywhere with a signal. The ability to reach a wider audience is at your fingertips. You are able to play without set times, guidelines, and rules. You can control every aspect of your show.
Now is the time to explore and play the music you have always dreamed of. Don’t let past memories and emotions cloud your judgment.
For the time being, you will not have a live audience. Your pay will not reflect your value. Those are obstacles and obstacles should never stop you from reaching your dreams.
Stop telling yourself made-up stories, forget the past. Now is the time to move onward and upward.
