Planning Ahead

“Plans are of little importance, but planning is essential.” ― Winston Churchill, former British Prime Minister

Planning Ahead

One of the most consistent themes we see inside the event industry is the failure to plan out. Waiting till the last minute can make or break your happening. By utilizing lead time, you can secure a professional band or specialty act. Entertainment acts can drastically increase the energy and ambiance. Solid entertainment acts book out three months in advance. Corporate event bands and wedding entertainment book their schedule six months to a year in advance.

If your venue or event is looking to host a special evening, then you should start researching right away. The longer you wait, the less chance you will have at obtaining entertainment. The more lead-time, the better. If you need more insight, check out our previous blog, How to locate music for your corporate event.
